Strength Management is my number one priority! Strength underpins everything we do and is how we are measured. End strength requires a balance between recruiting, retention, and attrition management. This policy letter provides mission essential and Staff specific tasks to meet annual end strength requirements.

Recruiting and Retention NCO Recruiting and Retention NCO assigned to Valdosta,Ga recruiting station and responsible for the strength of GA Units. Recruits, determines applicant enlistment eligibility, counsels applicants on enlistment programs and options, prepares enlistment applications and processes qualified applicants to enlist in the Army National Guard; accounts for and trains Future Soldiers for initial entry training; implements and conduct Army awareness programs; maintains a network of influencers to include parents, educators and community officials in four high schools and two colleges; responsible for thousands of dollars worth of Government equipment. 79T50 - Recruiting and Retention Noncommissioned Officer-in-Charge RRNCOIC assigned to region 4 supervises 8 production RRNCOs. Responsible for the assigned strength of CO D Recruit Sustainment Battalion. Establish performance standards, monitor and evaluate RRNCOs on the overall effectiveness of their recruiting and retention activities/programs. Counsel and rate RRNCOs assigned to their area in accordance with AR 623-205 and locally established policy. Monitors assigned RRNCOs to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidance in the use of GSA vehicles, information technology hardware/software and expense accounts. Assign and assist in the training of recruiter assistants.Assist in developing, maintaining and analyzing statistical data of assigned area demographics, as well as unit losses, unit climate information and SIDPERS data to form current and projected trends. Provide sustainment and remedial training for assigned team members as needed to maintain skills and prevent poor performance. Make recommendations for disciplinary action and/or dismissal of RRNCOs as required. 79T Army National Guard Recruiting and Retention NCO Recruiting and Retention NCO assigned to Bloomington recruiting station and responsible for the strength of CO B 1/131 Infantry. Recruits, determines applicant enlistment eligibility, counsels applicants on enlistment programs and options, prepares enlistment applications and processes qualified applicants to enlist in the Active Army and Army National Guard; accounts for and trains Future Soldiers for initial entry training; implements and conduct Army awareness programs throughout an area covering 36 square miles with a population of 55,826; maintains a network of influencers to include parents, educators and community officials in four high schools and one college; responsible for $30,000 worth of Government equipment. Recruiting and Retention NCO Prospect for leads, prepare prospect cards, refine leads, conduct school programs. Determine basic enlistment eligibility. Pre-qualifies an individual for enlistment. Determines eligibility for extension or immediate reenlistment. Conducts enlistment, attrition management and retention interviews. Explain the selected reserve incentive program and the Montgomery GI Bill, initial entry training (lET) requirements, test results, enlistment options/programs/obligations, non-regular service retirement, employer support and reemployment tights. Evaluate unit sponsorship programs. Briefs applicants on MEPS processing. Prepare and complete an enlistment packet. Counsels an applicant. Operates Guard Accession Information Network System. Establishes media contacts. Conducts direct mail campaigns. Evaluate unit's retention environment. Explain strength maintenance recognition programs. Conduct a strength maintenance interview and briefing. Develop time management work plans. Train unit first line leaders on career planning. Review request for separation/transfer/discharge.
